The Lorella was the Trawler my Grandad died on he was the radio man bought in to cover due to illness he only accepted due to saving funds for a big move to AUS, unfortunately it would be his last. He was posted on a hospital ship (not sure of the name).
I remember helping my dad when i was younger to renovate my Grandmas house who struggled with mental health it was begining to look lovely until she unexpectedly pasted away (i was 9) she touched my heart in such a way i can never forget, i tried to research into the Lorella and found out some interesting facts. Rolling forward 16 years married etc… my wife gave birth to my beautiful daughter who is named Lorella Elsie (After my Grandma) Hobson. I came across this site just typing in H455 Lorella and was amazed to see my Grandads name very touching thank you.
